Ranked 7th on Golf Digest Best Golf Courses in the UAE list, Dubai Creek golf course is truly impressive.
Opened in 1993 and built right on the Dubai Creek river, and not far from downtown Dubai, is a 6857 yds Par 71. It features a memorable layout, surrounded by palm trees, lakes and of course the creek which comes into play on several holes. On the one of the holes, the par 4 6th, the back tees are built on a platform right on the creek!!
First designed by Karl Litten, the front nine have been redesigned by European Golf Design and by Tomas Bjorn on 2005.
Since its opening it hosted two European Tour Desert Classic tournaments, on 1999-2000.
As you can imagine Dubai Creek golf course has been awarded with numerous accolades, and so has its "dhow-sailed" iconic clubhouse, an incredible structure today considered a Dubai landmark.
